Norway is officially the Kingdom of Norway. It is a country in Northwestern Europe.
The population of Norway is now 5 million people. The citizens there are ethnically Norwegian (83.2%), European (8.3%), and other (8.5%).
Norway has a national church. It is the Church of Norway. It is a Christian denomination. About 71% of citizens belong to it. Other religions include Roman Catholics (2.8%), other Christian (3.9%), Muslim (2.8%), other (2%), and unspecified (7.5%).
In the country, the people commonly speak two official languages: Bokmal Norwegian and Nynorsk Norwegian (95%). Also, there are numerous minority languages in Norway including the Sami and Finnish languages.
