Georgia is a country in Eastern Europe. It is located in the Caucasus region. Much of the country is covered by mountains. There are two climate zones. To the west is a humid subtropical zone. To the east is a transitional climate that moves from humid subtropical to continental.
The population of Georgia constitutes of approximately 4 million people. The majority of people are ethnically Georgian (86%), and others are Azeri (6.3%), Armenian (4.5%), and a different mix of people (2.3%). In this country, people are dominated by religion Orthodox (83.4%), Muslim (10.7%), Armenian Apostolic (2.9%), other (1.2%), and none (0.5%).
In terms of languages, most of the people in the country speak Georgian (87.6% officially), Azeri (6.2%), Armenian (3.9%), Russian (1.2%), and other (1%).
