Cuba is officially the Republic of Cuba. It is an island nation located of the coast of Central America.
The population of Cuba is made up of 11 million people.
Spanish is the official language of the country with every child being taught it from birth and almost everyone in the country speaking it.
Most of the people (64.1%) in Cuba descend from European migrants. There are also mulatto or mixed ethnicity (26.6%), and (9.3%) black.
The majority of the people there support Roman Catholicism as their faith. Roman Catholics make up approximately (59%) of the total population. The country is officially an Atheist state however and 23% classify themselves as Atheist. Some people (13%) support the Santeria faith, with the remaining percentage including Protestants, Baptists etc.
