Comoros is officially the Union of the Comoros. It is an island country off the coast of Africa.

The population of Comoros is over 800 thousand people.

There are five main ethnic groups in Comoros, names as follows: Cafre, Sakalava, Makoa, Oimatsaha, and Antalote.

The country has three official languages: Arabic, French, and Shikomoro which is a unique combination of the languages Swahili and Arabic.

The country is a majorly Muslim nation with most people supporting the Muslim faith. Most of the people there are of Sunni Muslim faith (98%) and others (2%) are made up of Shia Muslim, Roman Catholics, Protestant and Jehovah’s Witness. Islam is the official state’s religion in the country.
