Dutch (60%) and French (40%) are the two official languages of the population speaking them respectively. German is also considered an official language, with less than 1% speaking it.
In terms of ethnic groups, the maximum portion of people (75%) is of Belgian descent. Belgium (4.1%), Moroccans (3.7%), French (2.4%), Turkish (2%), Dutch (2%), and the rest are classified as a mix of other ethnic groups.
Most of the people in Belgium are Roman Catholics (50%).
Also, available are people of Muslim faith (5%), Protestant Christian (2.5%), Jewish (0.4%), Buddhist (0.3%), atheist (9.2%), and non-believers (32.6%).
