Andorra is officially the Principality of Andorra. It is a country in Southern or Southwestern Europe. Southwestern Europe. It is located in the Pyrenees mountains on the border between France and Spain.
The climate is temperate with snowy cold winters and warm dry summers. Most of the land is rugged mountains with narrow valleys.
From 1278 to 1993, Andorrans lived under a unique co-principality. It was ruled by French and Spanish leaders. In 1993, Andorra became a parliamentary democracy.
The current population of Andorra is almost 80 thousand. Most of the population (89.8%) lives in Urban areas.
The official language of Andorra is Catalan. People also speak French, Portuguese, and Spanish.
The most common religion in Andorra is Catholicism. The people of France, Spanish, and Portuguese origin almost all follow this religion. Andorrans (46.2%) are ethnically Catalans who are a minority in this country. The other groups are Spanish (26.4%), Portuguese (12.8%), French (5%), and other (9.6%).
