Blurb: Though it is not yet clear where the first woman to have these genetic markers was born, her descendants are today present at low frequencies across much of Europe. There they are slightly more often present in Eastern Europe than in Western Europe. A subtype of this lineage is also present in some Jewish Diaspora populations, such as Ashkenazi Jews.
