Blurb: This branch was born in Central Asia. Though most common in the Caucasus region, this line has spread across Europe and into Anatolia. It is most common in Croatia (5 percent) and Armenia (2 to 3 percent). It is about 2 percent of maternal lineages in Austria and Wales. It is also part of some Jewish Diaspora groups.
