Origin: Central Asia
Blurb: This lineage was born in Central Asia. Though most common in the Caucasus region, this line has spread across Europe and into Anatolia. Today it is present most often in United Arab Emirates (7 percent) and Croatia (6 percent). It is between 1 and 2 percent of maternal lineages in Switzerland, Greece, Netherlands, Spain, and the British Isles. It is also part of some Jewish Diaspora groups.
