Goran Runfeldt’s Family Finder Segment Triangulator is a tool that shows you additional information about your Family Finder (autosomal DNA) matches and segments they share at Family Tree DNA. This tutorial covers how to install the Chromosome Browser extension to use the tool.
Before you start, you need to have a Family Finder account at Family Tree DNA and the Chrome web-browser installed on your computer.
Go to the DNA Genealogy Experiment website.
Scroll down to the Browser Extension section. Click on the Chrome Web Store: DNA Genealogy Experiment Loader link.
Click the blue ADD TO CHROME button on the top right.
You will get a pop-up dialog that asks you to confirm installing the extension. Click the Add extension button to continue.
After installation completes, you will see a confirmation message at the top right, and there will be a green ADDED TO CHROME button.
The next tutorial in this series will cover running a basic triangulation on the Family Tree DNA Family Finder matches page.
