GDPR & The Genealogy Blogger in 2019 – A Privacy Policy

This is going to be one of my shortest posts ever. Every single website needs a privacy policy. They are both for disclosure and for our protection.

That being said, I am not a lawyer. I do not play one on TV. I am not going to tell you what you should have for text, because I know little about it.

So here we go. If you want to be really safe, consult a lawyer who is licenced to practice in your home country or state. In the US, lawyers are licenced by state.

For a quick easy fix, there are online Privacy Policy generators. They are worth taking a look at. Use at your own risk. I am not even going to list them in resources.
