Q-MEH2 – June 2017

Q-MEH2 is one of the two son branches of Q-M242. It is the parent of Q-M346 and Q-F1096.

YFull analysis gives it an age between 32,000 and 27,400 years. That is, Q-MEH2 is roughly 2,000 years younger than its parent. Q-MEH2 has a sweeping geography that covers most of Eurasia, the Middle East, and the Americas.

Here again, Q-MEH2 does not have living members today who do not belong to one of the son branches. This makes its place of origin open to debate, though surely it was someplace in Eurasia.
